Brauhaus Tegernsee

Herzoglich Bayerisches Brauhaus Tegernsee is one of Upper Bavaria’s most renowned traditional breweries, located directly at Lake Tegernsee in the former Benedictine monastery. With brewing roots reaching back more than 1,000 years and a documented monastery brewing tradition from the 17th century, the brewery stands for Bavarian heritage, regional pride and authentic beer culture.

The brewery combines centuries of tradition with modern brewing expertise and a strong focus on quality. Tegernseer beers are brewed with carefully selected raw materials, crystal-clear mountain spring water and a gentle brewing process with long maturation. This gives the beers their smooth, honest and highly drinkable character.

The Tegernseer range offers a compact but highly appealing selection of classic Bavarian styles, from Tegernseer Hell, Spezial, Pils and Dunkel Export to alcohol-free Helles, Leicht, Natur-Radler and seasonal specialties such as Der blaue Page and Quirinus Doppelbock. With its lakeside origin, former monastery setting, royal Bavarian heritage and strong recognition far beyond Upper Bavaria, Tegernseer brings exceptional regional character to a high-quality beer portfolio.
