Schweiger

Schweiger Bräu is an independent Bavarian family brewery from Markt Schwaben, near Munich. Founded by Ludwig Schweiger in 1934 and still family-run today, the brewery stands for regional roots, honest craftsmanship and a strong connection to Upper Bavarian beer culture.

The brewery places great value on time, quality and local ingredients. Schweiger uses brewing water from its own deep well, hops from nearby growing areas, yeast from its own pure culture and malt from its own malthouse, making it one of the few breweries in Germany that still malts its own barley. This careful approach gives the beers their natural, full-flavoured and unmistakably regional character.

The range combines classic Bavarian styles with creative specialties, from 1516 Bayrisch Hell, Helles Export, Zwickl 1409, Bayerisch Pils and Altbairisch Dunkel to Original Schmankerl Weiße, Schweiger Weiße, Radler, alcohol-free options and special brewery workshop beers.
